The aircraft was originally registered as CF-TGI in 1954 for TCA. It was sold several times, including to the Canadian airline "Trans Air". There is still poster from that airline on the door inside of the aircraft.

This excellent documentary shows the first Vickers Viscount flown in North America and TCA had it. The actual aircraft is now in Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ. You can see it there!!
