He seems to be the only boy in Quebec to flaunt this particular style. And from the comments he gets, he seems to pull it off fabulously.

My Tribe is My Life is an interactive documentary that plunges us into the worlds of 8 music fans and shows how the Internet has helped them forge their identities.

«Sébastien serves as an inspiration for me, though I am female myself. I see him leaving his house everyday and braving the crowds wearing what he likes, and I feel more inspired to do so myself. It truly amazes me, how the internet has opened doors for people who like to dress ‘differently’. I was so scared to step out of the house in lolita fashion, and now I have been to a few meet-ups. It’s been much easier to get dolled up and go out when you have met people who are like minded in your area. I feel truly blessed to be part of an accepting community, possibly for the first time. I am also blessed to have not only my mother’s approval, but also her interest. This does make it a sight easier to go out in the fashion I choose. So thank you, Sébastien, for sharing a little of your world with us, Merci ! » — OllieMarie, 9 Mai 2011
