This Oscar®-winning short film is an impressionistic record of a flamenco dance class given to senior students of the National Ballet School of Canada by two great teachers from Spain, Susana and Antonio Robledo. The film shows the beautiful young North American dancers—inspired by the flamenco rhythms and mesmerized by Susana's extraordinary energy—joyously merging with an ancient gypsy culture.

I just LOVE Susana, the female instructor. Such energy when she teaches. I feel like a gypsy just watching her. Even Antonio, the male teacher, has caught my attention and I started to clap to the flamenco beat. Not so easy! Yet it's mesmerizing once you get into it. What Susana and Antonio do is magical. These types of teachers go beyond just teaching dance moves - they passionately teach you about life and a bit of what it has to offer. Why shouldn't learning be fun?

I I have loved this film since I first saw it as a teenager studying Ballet and Classical Spanish Dance and Flamenco. Today I am a grandmother, I have been teaching for 35 years. I love it still!
