Governor General Awards (2010)

Created in 1992, the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards honour the best in Canadian talent. Each year, awards are presented for Lifetime Artistic Achievement in theatre, dance, classical music, popular music, film, radio and television broadcasting.

Proud to be associated with this event, for the past several years the NFB has produced short films to commemorate the winners. These films were screened at the awards ceremonies, and 6 of the 8 films are now available for you to view online.

The remaining 2 films No Intermission, about Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Move Your Mind, about Robin Phillips, will be put online at a later date.
