After viewing, ask students to explain moments in an adolescent’s life that could cause stress. Explain the notion of physical vs. psychological addiction. Have students write about themselves; do they identify with the main character? Have students, in smaller groups, research the different common drugs and the dangers of using them, as well as the benefits of exercise and endorphins for stress relief and management. Explore other forms of addiction with the students.
