5 Shorts Project2015 4 éditionsLaunched by the NFB’s French Documentary Studio, the 5 Shorts Project seeks to discover new filmmaking talent from Quebec’s regions while exploring the short-form doc genre. Five directors are challenged to create a 4-to-5-minute short with a technical requirement. These independent, individual films will benefit from the cohort’s constructive reflection and interaction.

Trois hommes ayant vécu des démêlés avec la justice sont détenus dans un pénitencier. À l’approche de leur libération, ils participent à un entretien d’embauche simulé. Le court documentaire de Nicolas Lévesque Entrevue avec un homme libre traite du désir d’épanouissement de ces hommes et de leur retour à une vie «normale» hors de la prison. Porté par ses rêves, chacun souhaite retrouver la stabilité et la fierté. Quelles paroles sont pour vous les plus touchantes? Justifiez votre réponse.
