Discuss/study war tactics from WWI and WWII, versus those used in modern wars. Detail weapons used then and now. How has technology changed how war is fought? Discuss how wartime affects the morale and unity of a nation. Review some of the training exercises seen in the film. Do you think cadets/soldiers do the same kind of training today? Invite a member of the military to speak to the class about their job and role in protecting our country.
